Caught in the swirling motion of the artist’s hand, the ethereal drawing and paintings of Ai Campbell explore life, death, and everything in between. Ink washes with intricate line work create detailed maps of the human subconscious. Having mostly worked in solely black and white, Campbell adds veils of color to the wash technique of her new work. CharVoz: Studio and Projects - will be launching a new line of ceramics this coming month! 

It has always been a dream of mine to work in ceramics. In 2006 I was able to take an intensive two week program focusing on ceramics at Bennington College in Vermont. It was an incredible experience. I love working with clay. This experience was also the first time I was exposed to glaze pencils, and that I could create drawings on ceramics. This was mind blowing at the time and I have been thinking of when I could do it again ever since.

It is a great honor to be the Volunteer Director for The Love Yourself Project. This organization has meant a great deal to me over the years, as I have learned what it means to Love yourself. We have been ding community outreach, creating art workshops for young people, and people in retirement communities for the past seven years!
